Well made 3 d printer. Enjoy it more than my Creality models. It’s fast and accurate. Only problem is have had so far is a drop in temperature during start up
But it corrects itself eventually
Design is perfect, but i have some ideas for improvement: made from transparent material, add filament cuting tool between extruder and hotend.

This is the first time I’ve tried PETG filament it prints really well using standard settings great price too.
Kit did arrive after some weeks from order when an AD5M kit came in a couple of days. I had all the parts pre printed ready and it assembled in about an hour. I haven’t used printer on anything higher temp than Petg so can’t comment on ABS use.
I found I was having to clean the part cooling fan every couple of days due to having a parrot and they create a lot of dust since fitting enclosure I haven’t needed to do anything. I keep forgetting there’s a door now and end up hitting it when I go to remove any ooze that didn’t clear the poop shoot. I think it was around 2kg of filament to print and now machine is much quieter.
Ordered the enclosure kit as making some serious mods to the unit so I can use some of the more volatile filament. Lights air filtration etc.

Great printer for its price range, once you get used to the strange sounds it makes.
Perfect 4 color printer with enough room to print most things. Happy with my purchase and will buy a few more in the future.

So yea, first ever Flashforge 3D printer i bought and i.. am.. impressed! Very nicely packed, simple instructions. After turning it on and let the 5M work the calibrations etc it was pretty much plug and play for me. Now off to the slicer to find out what this beast can do! 10/10 will recommend this for beginners and why not little bit experienced printers too.
I have my own IT business and bought this to create computer parts and accessories. It has exceeded my expectations with the ease of use! I looked into 3D printers many years ago and at that time everything had to be assembled and was much more expensive. It is amazing what this printer can do right out of the box

After barely 10 minutes of unpacking and assembly, the first print job was on its way! The quality and especially the speed with which everything prints confirm that I made the right choice.
Upgraded to the AD5X and so glad I did. The multi filament is a game changer and the speed is incredible. Still haven’t parted with my flash forge pro 4 but definitely glad I have upgraded!!
No clear instructions have to hunt for information I am still struggling with the version of orca slicer.
